ShopSite Manager is more than a basic shopping cart, it’s a complete e-commerce solution. You can use the Store Setup Wizard to get a store online in as few as fifteen minutes. With an unrestricted* number of products, and the ability to automatically generate an unrestricted number of store pages or the option to place order buttons on an existing website, there’s no limit to the size of your store.
Your Manager store gives you the ability to do more than simply list your products. You can create product option pull-down menus, put products on sale, and even automatically generate individual product detail pages. In addition, you can have ShopSite Manager automatically include a search box on store pages.
Accepting payments with ShopSite Manager is easy. You can configure your store to accept payments using an online payment service, such as PayPal or Google Checkout, or from one of the many integrated real-time payment gateways. ShopSite v10 has been certified as a PABP/PCI-DSS compliant application. When properly configured, ShopSite protects you and your customers by making sure sensitive payment information is handled securely and safely. You can even tell your customers that your store is configured for high security by displaying an automatically generated security logo on your site.
With ShopSite Manager, you have the ability to include real-time shipping quotes from UPS, FedEx, or the U.S. Postal Service in the shopping cart. You can also calculate sales tax or Value Added Tax (VAT/GST) based off the customer’s ZIP or Postal Code. Once customers place orders, you can view and print invoices and packing slips directly from the ShopSite back office, or you can download the orders and import them into your preferred order management application, such as Intuit QuickBooks.
ShopSite Manager is integrated with several popular Google tools. You can configure your Manager store to automatically generate a Google-style XML sitemap. ShopSite can include Google Analytics tracking code on your store pages, and even send anonymous purchase information to Google Analytics, so you can see what your customers are looking at before they make a purchase. Manager stores also have the ability to automatically generate feeds to submit your product information to Google Product Search.
With the ability to create and upload Custom Templates, you have complete control over the look of your ShopSite Manager store. Custom templates can be used to control the look of any customer-facing web page and even the e-mail messages you send your customers. Anyone with a little experience in HTML page design can learn how to use Custom Templates to customize the look of a ShopSite Manager store.
